Galemire Hospital
Galemire Hospital is manned 7 days a week, open Monday -Friday 8.30am-6.30pm
Sat-Sun 9.00am-6.00pm.
We operate an appointment system as follows
Mon-Fri: 12 noon-1pm & 4.30pm-6.30 pm
Sat: 12 noon -1pm
A vet is available for emergency treatment at all other times.
Gray St surgery
Also an appointment system
Mon-Fri: 9.30am-10.30am & 4.30 pm-6.30 pm
Sat: 9.30 am-10.30am
At all other times emergency treatment is available at the main Hospital
Location
Galemire Hospital is located on the western edge of the English Lake District on the outskirts of Cleator Moor, an ex mining community. Travelling East from Whitehaven, the nearest big town, Galemire is found by travelling past Whitehaven swimming baths then dropping down to Keekle & taking the road signposted Moor Row; Galemire is found approx 0.4 miles from Keekle on the left hand side of the road .
Our Gray St branch surgery is found half way along Gray street in Workington approx 9 miles from the main Hospital.
